Generally, pure water plays a vital role in regulating the functionalities of the human bodies. Therefore, drinking water, specifically which is stored in tanks, must be thoroughly examined for purity and wastages before utilization. Various mechanisms have been addressed in literature to resolve these issues with available resources. However, these solutions were either too costly or designed for larger organizations. In this project, we are eager to develop an automatic water quality and quantity controlling system particularly for individual households. The proposed system will have the capacity to control water wastage by remotely controlling the operation of filling a tank through water level sensors. Moreover, water purity, turbidity and acidity level water will be monitored continuously. The proposed system will educate its user, through an SMS, to adopt various safety precautions i.e., how long an individual will wait to drink water from a tank when it is recently filled.
